Sage Memorial Hospital FY 2024 Q1 Newsletter

Sage Memorial Hospital announces the upcoming release of its first-quarter newsletter for Fiscal Year 2024. This edition highlights our hospital’s accomplishments and initiatives from October to December 2023. Look out for the newsletter insert in the Thursday, February 8 edition of the Navajo Times.

In this issue, our CEO shares a message, showcasing her vision and leadership. The newsletter also provides details about the schedule of our mobile health unit, a vital outreach program delivering healthcare services directly to the community.

Additional copies of the newsletter will be distributed to local service chapters in Ganado, Steamboat, Klagetoh, Wide Ruins, Greasewood Springs, Cornfields, Kinlichee, and Nazlini.

Join the Hot Cocoa Walk/Run Event at Sage Memorial Hospital

Join us at the Sage Memorial Hospital Wellness Center on December 28th, from 4:00 – 5:30 pm for a Hot Cocoa Walk/Run event, hosted by the Diabetes Program. This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in a health-oriented community event! Register by 5:10 pm on the day to secure your participation. Our mobile health unit will be on location providing essential health checks, including diabetes screening and blood pressure checks, as well as administering flu and COVID-19 vaccines. GANADO, Ariz. – Sage Memorial Hospital’s mobile health unit is dedicated to providing a range of outpatient services to our rural communities in the surrounding area.

Please find attached the Mobile Health Unit JANUARY 2024 Schedule (for distribution) Services provided by the Sage Memorial Hospital Mobile Health Unit (available on varying days and locations) include:

  • COVID & Influenza Clinic
  • DM Screening & Education
  • Sexual Healthcare
  • Rapid HIV/Syphillis tests
  • STI Screening/Treatment
  • Harm Reduction Servies
  • Walk-in Services
  • Adult Immunizations
  • School/Employment Physicals

Please note that Mobile Health Unit’s operation days and times are subject to changes. Services are for individuals 12 yrs and older. Physical form MUST be completed and signed. Sage Memorial Hospital Canvas for Care Art Program Announces Call for Artists and Donations

GANADO, Ariz. – Sage Memorial Hospital Canvas for Care Art Program is pleased to announce a call for artists and donations. This opportunity invites artists of all 2D disciplines to submit their artwork to be considered for display in our new hospital facilities.

The call for submissions is open from November 21, 2023 to January 1, 2024, with a proposed artist selection date of January 8, 2024. Selected artwork will be exhibited and/or published in various media, including print publications, online galleries, and social media platforms.

In addition to submissions, we are also accepting donations of artwork from artists who wish to support our mission. All donated artworks may be used for fundraising purposes.
