Important Health Advisory: Varicella (Chickenpox) Alert.
Chickenpox is highly contagious and can spread quickly in our community. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, and an itchy rash that turns into blisters. It’s contagious 1-2 days before the rash appears until all blisters crust over.
If you have symptoms:
Do NOT enter the hospital or clinic.
Cover any rash, if possible.
Call ahead before seeking medical care.
Follow healthcare staff instructions to prevent spread.
