GANADO, Ariz. – Sage Memorial Hospital Community Health Department is excited to announce a series of upcoming cooking classes focused on the nourishing benefits of Native and Diné foods. The classes, themed “Delicious Diné Cooking Class: Power Up with Protein,” will take place throughout July 2024 at various Chapter Houses.
Participants will engage in hands-on cooking sessions where they will learn to create two nutritious and delicious Diné meals: Rainbow Chili and a balanced protein smoothie using Native ingredients. These classes are designed for individuals of all ages, from children to grandparents, providing a fun and educational experience that emphasizes the importance of protein in our diets.
