Women & Infant Services provides coordinated, culturally respectful care for women, pregnant patients, newborns, and families.

Our team provides prenatal care, women’s health services, family planning, postpartum care, newborn follow-up, and selected office-based procedures close to home.

Outpatient Services:

Pregnancy and Prenatal Care

• Pregnancy testing and counseling
• Initial and routine prenatal visits
• Prenatal laboratory testing
• Limited and anatomic survey obstetric ultrasound
• Nonstress testing
• Biophysical profiles
• Gestational diabetes screening and management
• Hypertension and preeclampsia screening
• High-risk pregnancy assessment and coordination
• Coordination with maternal-fetal medicine when needed
• Coordination with regional delivery hospitals

Women’s Health

• Annual women’s health examinations
• Cervical cancer screening and Pap testing
• Breast health concerns
• Menstrual concerns and abnormal uterine bleeding
• Pelvic pain evaluation
• Menopause care
• Sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment
• Preconception counseling
• Early pregnancy and miscarriage follow-up

Family Planning and Contraception

• Contraception counseling and management

• Depo-Provera injections
• IUD placement and removal
• Nexplanon placement and removal

Postpartum and Mother-Baby Care

• Early and routine postpartum visits
• Maternal recovery and blood pressure monitoring

• Newborn weight checks and jaundice follow-up

Office-Based Women’s Health Procedures

• IUD placement and removal
• Nexplanon placement and removal
• Endometrial biopsy
• Cervical biopsy
• Colposcopy by referral
• Evaluation and treatment of common gynecologic concerns

Sage Memorial Hospital is actively developing local Labor and Delivery and newborn hospital services. Labor and Delivery is not currently open for planned deliveries. Patients receiving prenatal care at Sage will work with their healthcare team to plan delivery at an appropriate regional hospital.

Patients may return to Sage after delivery for postpartum care, newborn follow-up, breastfeeding support, contraception, and ongoing primary care.
